I celebrated my 21st birthday this past weekend in Lake Charles, Louisiana at the L'auberge du Lac Casino Resort; I cannot wait to go back! The fact that you feel as if you are getting the Las Vegas experience much closer to home is the best part. I took the liberty to enjoy everything the Casino Resort had to offer on my birthday vacation; I had a wonderful time at the casino by winning money on my very first slot machine (I recommend the "Wheel of Fortune" slots!) , I recieved the most beautiful flowers from the floral shop, the swim-up bar in the middle of the lazy river was where I ordered my first "legal" drink, Jack Daniel's Bar and Grill was a casual meal turned into a dance party after hours, the Snake River Grill was by far the best meal I have had in years (I recommend the lobster mashed potatoes!), enjoyed some window shopping, and to top off the weekend I had an amazing Swedish massage. My birthday was perfect, spending it with my family and boyfriend, without them it wouldn't have been complete!
