Ever since my first sewing class, my favorite professor, Mrs. Paula Robinson, has encouraged me to be thinking of a brand name, and the design philosophy behind it. My sophomore year I thought of L&B; the cursive letter "L" reminds me of lace and the loops in letter "B" reminds me of little bows. I have sketching and dreaming of collection to represent my brand L&B, and my first collection was called LBD: little beau dress. It is a play off from the classic "little black dress". So far it is a "mini" collection of 4 dresses because I have sketched and made 3 of them. I made two last semester in Apparel Design Through Flat Pattern. This semester in my Apparel Design Through Draping class, I made the third one. I finally got it back from my professor and thought I should take pictures for my portfolio! Hope yall like it!
Speaking of portfolio, I put a link in the sidebar under "Projects" displaying "Portfolio" that connects to my Google Sites Portfolio of my work so far here at The University of Alabama. Clearly, I would like to have a more "snazzy" site upon graduation, but this will do for now! Check it out if you want!
